Exclusions:

Your tour will begin at our office near the Pantheon. We will spend the morning zipping around the historic center and even stop for gelato at your guide's favorite gelateria!

Following our hour-long lunch break (free time), we will set off to marvel at some of Ancient Rome's most impressive landmarks. We'll drive from the city center to the Catacombs, passing by the Circus Maximus and Baths of Caracalla — the luxurious third-century public baths. 

Afterwards, we'll follow the historic Appian Way for a glimpse into one of Ancient Rome's most important roads. You'll see an ancient Roman tomb and have the chance to walk on the original ancient Roman pavestones! 

Before returning to Rome center, we will stop at the Catacombs and enjoy a 30-minute guided walking tour through its underground corridors. Get ready to learn all about these fascinating Christian burial sites from a Catacombs in-house guide! Catacombs entrance tickets and tour costs are included in the driving tour price.

As we return to the office, we'll drive along the well-preserved Aurelian Walls. We’ll see the ancient Roman fortifications that once protected the city from invasion, as well as a 2,000 year old Roman Pyramid!

Please note: 

• The only attraction entrance tickets included in this tour are to the Roman Catacombs. 
• The tour inside Roman Catacombs requires walking on uneven ground, and climbing down and up steep stairs. Furthermore, the temperature inside the Catacombs is around 16°C / 61°F with high humidity; so, please dress accordingly. 
• Please notify us ahead of time of any mobility impairments so that we can advise you accordingly. 
• The church of St. Sebastian is open every day but is occasionally closed to visitors due to special church services and weddings.  
• The tour information will be given in English.

• Please note that there are 7 seats per vehicle and tours are run with up to a maximum of 2 vehicles and 14 participants. Vehicles will travel together (like connected train carriages) on tour and guests all listen to the same tour guide through the use of earpieces. In some occasions guests who book together may be asked to separate between the two vehicles.
  

• Please also note that it is very easy to get lost in Rome and it can be at times difficult to find a free taxi, especially if you are 5 or more people and need 2 taxis. As this is a group tour, we cannot delay the tour for late participants. Please give yourself plenty of time and arrive early to our office, the tour meeting point. If you know you will be late, please call us so we may find a suitable solution. 

• Note on Infants: unfortunately, due to safety regulations, we are unable to accept infants under 2 years of age. Children from 2 to 12 years old are welcome and Biga tours can provide car seats or boosters for free. Please notify us of each child’s age so that we can provide the appropriate seat size.
